Overview
AppShow turns public App Store and Google Play listings into hosted landing pages. This policy explains what we collect when you use AppShow, and what we collect from visitors to pages hosted on AppShow.
Account information
When you create an account we store your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile image. We do not use passwords.
Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. We never receive or store card details; we keep your Polar customer and subscription identifiers so we can apply your plan.
Store data
To build your page we fetch publicly available listing data: app name, description, icon, screenshots, ratings and recent public reviews. Images are copied to our storage so published pages do not depend on the stores.
Descriptions and a sample of reviews are sent to OpenAI to write page copy. This data is already public, and we do not send your account information.
Visitors to hosted pages
Published pages record anonymous page views and store-button clicks with a timestamp, the referring website and an approximate country. We do not use cookies on hosted pages, do not store IP addresses, and do not build visitor profiles.
Abuse prevention
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse and keep a one-way hash of IP addresses for up to 24 hours to enforce rate limits on anonymous previews.
Service providers
We rely on Cloudflare (storage and bot protection), OpenAI (copywriting), Resend (email), Polar (payments) and Google (optional sign-in). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Retention and deletion
Anonymous previews are deleted after 24 hours. Deleting a site removes its data, images and analytics. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we will complete the request within 30 days.
